Anita Browning-Redding, 52, of Cottonwood Shores died Sept. 23, 2011. She was born in Longview on June 26, 1959, to Ervin and Autrey Browning.

She was a homemaker before being diagnosed with cancer. She dearly loved her family, church and close friends. Survivors include her mother Autrey Browning of Cottonwood Shores; husband Rodney Redding of Cottonwood Shores; daughter Melanie and husband Justin Boucher of Cottonwood Shores; son Wesley Browning of Cottonwood Shores; granddaughters Breah Caron and Abigail Boucher, both of Cottonwood Shores, and Bailey Boucher and Trista Boucher of George West; brother Kevin Morrison and wife Terry Morrison of Pearland; sister Cindy Browning of Ganado; brother-in-law Thomas Redding Jr. and wife Amy of George West; sister-in-law Michele White and husband George of Calallen; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A service is 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at Cottonwood Shores Community Church with the Rev. Bentley Martin officiating.
