Mustangs lose low-scoring game to Vista Ridge

CEDAR PARK — Needing a near miracle to beat Cedar Park Vista Ridge, the Marble Falls High School football team called for just that.
But the miracle didn’t materialize, and Vista Ridge Friday claimed the victory, 6-0.
Marble Falls senior quarterback Zed Woerner passed to senior receiver Bobby Hall, who found senior receiver Clynt Powell, who threw back to Woerner.
But the Rangers (2-3, 1-0) expected it and had Woerner covered to preserve their win.
