Mustang freshman teams lose to Boerne Champion
MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School freshman football teams lost both games to Boerne Champion on Sept. 15.
The Purple team lost 28-0, while the Gold squad was defeated 14-0.
“Both teams played extremely hard and play hard the entire game,” coach Weston Franco said.
Highlights from the games were interceptions by Bryce Fry and David Spurlock for the Purple teams.
In the Gold game, Skylar Postgate recovered a fumble.
Coaches commended D’Anthony Wall, Jacob Smith, Trace Farley and Jacob Bryer on their play.
The Mustangs are on the road at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 22 against Cedar Park Vista Ridge, 200 S. Vista Ridge Blvd. in Cedar Park.
