Edna Marie Muldovan, 84, of Burnet died May 31, 2011. She was born in Gomez on March 10, 1927.

After living in Texas for 39 years, the family relocated to Phoenix and lived there for a decade. In 1977, they moved to Albuquerque, N.M., and resided there 20 years.

She retired in 1987 from Baker Commodities after a 25-year career. She and and her husband Nick moved to Burnet in 1997, where they belonged to Fellowship Church, formally known as Silver Creek Baptist Church.

She loved to sing and harmonize; she often sang her favorite songs, which in her words were “country AND western.” She enjoyed crossword and word-search puzzles and playing Scrabble. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include children Chet Hearn, Dale Hearn, Gale Daniel, Roger Hearn and Nikki Kasper; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters Kate and Marjorie; and brother I.E.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. June 9 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.

A service is 2 p.m. June 10 at the funeral home with internment at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet.
