English honored for 1,000th win
Legendary girls basketball coach Jerry English of Faith Academy was honored for capturing his 1,000th career victory at a reception April 3 hosted by the school at First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls. Several of his former players and assistant coaches from Pflugerville, Sweeny and Dripping Springs high schools were there to share stories and express their gratitude to English.
