Emma Lorine Nault
Emma Lorine Nault, 80, of Kingsland died Feb. 26, 2011. She was born July 23, 1930, in Melissa to Emitt and Stella (Womack) Herod.
She married Ralph W. Nault on Aug. 7, 1953, in Roswell, N.M. Together, they followed oil-field work, moving 40 times to six states. On some occasions, they would move to a town they already had lived in.
She had many different jobs and interests, including as a butcher for Piggly Wiggly grocery. She owned a ceramic shop in Spring and enjoyed woodworking and craft shows. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingsland and the American Legion Auxiliary of Kingsland.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years; daughter Rickie and husband John C. Newell of Llano; son Wendell Nault and wife Kathleen of Allen; grandchildren April Riggs of Austin, John A. Newell of Tallahassee, Fla., and Travis Nault and Shannon Nault, both of Allen; daughter-in-law Maureen Nault of Plano; brothers Emitt Herod and wife Phyllis of Normangee and Donnie Herod of Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her son James Richard Nault.
A service is 2 p.m. March 1 at First Baptist Church of Kingsland, 3435 RR 1431 West, with the Rev. Bubba Stahl officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
