Playing for tourney title was one of Lady Stangs’ goals

MARBLE FALLS — Needing only to tie Austin Crockett in the final pool game of its own Winter Classic Tournament, the Marble Falls High School girls soccer team decided to earn a trip to the championship the proper way – the scoreboard.

The Lady Mustangs (3-1) tasted success with sophomore forward Savannah Henderson’s goal in the 1-0 victory against Crockett but lost to Houston Lamar, 3-0, in the championship.
