Troy Clyde Galyean, 75, died at his residence in Kingsland May 14, 2010. A native of Cee Vee, he was born Oct. 13, 1934, to Lee C. and Verbon Parker Galyean.

After his schooling, he worked at various jobs but enjoyed being a carpenter most of his adult life. His greatest pleasure was woodworking.

He married Thelma Joyce McDaniel June 4, 1954, in Quemado. Next month they would have been married 56 Years.

In addition to his wife, survivors include children Archie Lee and wife Brenda Galyean of Wrangell, Alaska, James Clyde "Bubba" and wife Tina Galyean of Burnet and Estell Inez and husband Carl Brauer of Vilonia, Ark.;  grandchildren April Lynn, Michelle Kay, Thomas Arron, Jeramy, Athena, Bo Anthony, Johnny Ray, AnaVictoria Nickole and Parker Allen; great-grandchildren Brendon, Breana, Bradley, Brook, Larissa, Andrew, Atlantis and Daniella; great-great-grandchildren Lena Kathleen, Evan Troy and Alexander; sisters Nelda Sue of Darby, Kan., and Doris Lue of Chilacothie; sister-in-laws Sharon, Bonnie and Beverly McDaniel; brothers-in-law Eddie Baker, Vergil Cozart, James Andrew "Buzz" McDaniel and William Joe "Bill" McDaniel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jimmy Clyde; brother Dormon Hugh; grandson Randy Scott; and a brother and sisters who were triplets.

Services are 1 p.m. May 22 at the Hill Country Tabernacle of Praise Church, 2802  S. Water St. (U.S. 281) in Burnet.
