Margarita Salazar, 67, of Marble Falls died March 29, 2010. Born July 1, 1942, in San Antonio, she was the daughter of Geronimo and Aurelia (Rodriguez) Contreras.

She was a homemaker, enjoyed camping and loved barbecue.

Survivors include her husband Victor Salazar of Marble Falls; daughters Jackie Martinez, Rosemary Leal and Mary Leal, all of Marble Falls, and Deborah Hernandez and Nora Flores, both of Granite Shoals; sons: Raymond Salazar and Victor Salazar Jr., both of Marble Falls, and Ismeal Martinez Jr. of Burnet; brothers Eugene Contreras and Rudy Contreras, both of San Antonio; 38 grandchildren; and 67 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Celia Martinez.

Visitation is 5 p.m. April 1 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 105 RR 1431 East in Marble Falls, with the Rev. Jairo Lopez officiating.

Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Manuel Beltran Jr., Enrique Flores Jr., Victor Manuel Martinez, Ismeal Martinez, Marcelo Hernandez Jr., Luis Garcia, Pablo Arana and Juan Nunez.
