Raymond M. “Ray” Kane Sr.

Raymond M. “Ray” Kane Sr., 76, of Bertram, died March 7, 2010, at a local nursing home. He was born June 25, 1933, in Washington, D.C., to William A. and Louise Gertrude O’Callaghan Kane.

Survivors include sons Raymond M. Kane Jr. of Valley Head, W.Va., Steve F. Kane Sr. of Land O’Lakes, Fla., and Mark E. Kane Sr. of Anniston, Ala.; daughters Mary L. Reilly of Venice, Fla., and Laurie A. Kane of Kaiserslautern, Germany; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine G. Kane.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. March 11 at the First United Methodist Church of Burnet, with the Rev. Ellen Ely officiating.

Interment will follow at a later date in Clinton, Md.
