Army Lt. Col. (retired) Howard Aubry Trammell
Army Lt. Col. (retired) Howard Aubry Trammell, 89, of Kingsland died Feb. 9, 2010. He was born to Millard and Alma (Prichard) Trammell April 18, 1920, in Avondale, Mo.
He was an American adviser to the Korean Army two times during the Korean War and an instructor of military tactics at Vanderbilt University.
Survivors include his sister Pat McAfee of Buchanan Dam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. March 6 at the Putnam Funeral Home chapel, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. Full military honors will be provided by the Highland Lakes Honor Guard.
