Tales from the Australian Outback at Serendipity
The event is noon-2 p.m. at the store, 1103 RR 1431 West.
This adventure is set in the Australian wilderness during Sayles’ younger years and documents his story as a wild bull catcher and hunting “big reds” — Australian kangaroos.
Sayles left for the Outback when his family ranch was sold and began a seven-year odyssey that included floods, crocodiles and Tasmanian devils.
Sayles is an environmental consultant and is on the board of Boulder Creek Ministries. He has been published in several magazines including “Walkabout,” an Australian geographic magazine; and “Animal Kingdom,” a New York Zoological Society magazine.
