Making fans thankful
Both the Marble Falls and Burnet high school volleyball teams advanced to the playoffs.
Burnet and Llano high school and Faith Academy football teams qualified for the postseason.
The girls basketball teams at Faith, Marble Falls, Burnet and Llano continue to set the pace as they earn wins.
Three head coaches — David Denney and Larry Berkman at Faith and Bruce Etheridge at Marble Falls — made their debuts at their schools this semester.
And all four high schools had cross-country runners advance to regional meets. Faith, Llano and Burnet runners progressed to the state meet.
It all adds up to a happy Thanksgiving for fans.
