‘Picking party’ offered at Boys & Girls Club

MARBLE FALLS — Come on down to a live “picking party” 6-10 p.m. Saturday at the Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes featuring bluegrass, country and goaspel music.

The club is at 1701 Broadway.

The event is free, but donations are welcome. Sponsors said bring a covered dish.

There also will be an open mic for performers.

The picking party is held every third Saturday at the club.
