Marble Falls site of recycling education campaign
Shirley Beaudoin of Interface Industries, a nonprofit organization that combines recycling efforts with education programs for special-needs clients, is launching a recycling education campaign to increase recycling awareness and participation.
Th educational showcase will be held 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday in the Walmart parking lot, 2700 U.S. 281 North.
“The event includes the unveiling of a new marketing campaign themed ‘It’s time for all Texans to Reduce, Recycle and Reuse,’” said Beaudoin. “The event will include information on what kind of, and where, residents can drop recyclables including cardboard, paper, plastic and metal products.”
Balloons and educational materials for children will be available.
Additional partners for the event include The Bertram Recycling Center.
