Highland Arts Gallery features guest artist

The demonstration subject is an oil still life.

Roberti, born in Vietnam, came to the United States as an exchange student when she was 16.

Her career followed many paths, sponsors said, but art was always important to her. In 2000, she chose painting as her full-time vocation.

“I love painting,” she said. “I love the endless series of tasks exploring the abstract elements of lines, shapes, values, colors, textures and edges. I have tried every medium and genre and find that I love them all. Painting is a wonderful journey of self-discovery.”

Roberti has studied with Sherrie McGraw and David Leffel.

Her paintings of people and still life can be seen on the Internet at kimsartblog.blogspot.com.

Collections of her work are displayed at businesses in New Hampshire, California and Texas.

Roberti makes her home in Tow, and she paints and teaches at her studio and gallery in Cottonwood Shores.

The Highland Arts Galllery is located at 318 Main St.

Visitors are welcome to the demonstration at no charge. Lunch will be served after the program.
