Former owner drops anchor at Doc’s Fish Camp & Grill
MARBLE FALLS — Bill and Debbie Stohler have been living on a boat sailing the Caribbean for more than two years, but they’ve decided to return to the area, drop anchor and become the new owners of Doc’s Fish Camp and Grill, formerly Dock’s Restaurant.
They took over Aug. 27. The restaurant is at U.S. 281 and RR 1431.
Bill Stohler helped build Dock’s with Roxanne Nelson 14 years ago. He owned another Doc’s Restaurant in Waco for 10 years until he sold the business last year.
“We are planning to continue with the same great food and service,” Stohler said. “We will tweak a few things, and some of the changes we would like to make include building a brand new kitchen and remodeling the existing kitchen to become another dining room. The parking lot will also be expanded.”
Stohler hopes to finish the renovations by next year.
