CASA holds open house

KINGSLAND — Court Appointed Special Advocates for the Highland Lakes is holding an open house 5:30-7:30 p.m. today at the CASA office, 1719 Ridgeview. 

CASA volunteers advocate for children who enter the foster care system because of abuse or neglect in the five counties of Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano and San Saba.  

Robert Hofmann, an associate judge of the 33rd state Judicial District, is the guest speaker. The public is invited.
