Jim Bob ‘Bobbie’ Maddox
Jim Bob “Bobbie” Maddox, 87, died Oct. 13, 2012. She was born on June 26, 1925, in Burnet to Jesse and Georgia “Click” Waldrope.
She married Roy Maddox on Sept. 15, 1956, in Fredericksburg.
She worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. The couple enjoyed gardening, and she also loved to sew and do crafts.
She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Llano.
Survivors include son David Maddox and wife Melissa of Leander; grandsons Jimmy Maddox and Bobby Powell; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 3, 1989; son Bobby Powell; granddaughter Donna Napolez; her parents; and three sisters.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. Oct. 15 at the Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Cundieff officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of choice.
