Daniel ‘Danny’ Earl Duke
Daniel ”Danny” Earl Duke, 65, died Oct. 6, 2012, in Burnet. He was born Aug. 24, 1947, in Galena Park.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Burnet and served in the Army in Vietnam during 1967 and 1968.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Janie Duke of Burnet; daughter DeDe Lynn Remington and husband Randy of Bluelake; son John Patrick Goad and wife Aarin of Burnet; mother Delphin Duke of Marble Falls; eight grandsons; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Duke, and son, Jeffery B. Atkinson Sr.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Oct. 10 at Victory Baptist Church, 4150 Texas 29 East in Burnet, with the Rev. Larry May officiating.
