Grace Belle Campbell
Grace Belle Campbell, 101, of Llano died Sept.12, 2012. She was born Feb. 28, 1911, to Mary (Curren) Isenberger and Homer George Isenberger in Mound City, Ill. She married Roland Buren Campbell in August 1926 in Mound City.
She loved her Lord, her family and friends, the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church family, the Dallas Cowboys, the San Antonio Spurs, the University of Texas Longhorns (with all due respect to the Baylor University Bears) and the Llano High School Yellow Jackets. She also enjoyed playing the piano and singing.
She lived in Llano since 1938 and was a founding member of the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Margaret Austin of Seadrift, Shirley Amthor of San Saba and Dorothy Murchison and husband Donald of Buchanan Dam; sons Roland Campbell Jr. of Llano, Arthur Edward Campbell of San Saba and Larry Dale Campbell of Kingsland; sisters Mary Margaret Hiestand and Rachel Elizabeth Campbell , both of Buchanan Dam; son-in-law Don Harned of Seadrift; 18 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; parents; daughter Mary Evelyn Harned; three brothers; an infant sister; and an infant great-grandson.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sept.15 at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home. 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Meegan officiating.
Burial will follow at the Llano City Cemetery.
Pallbearers include grandsons Mike, David and Bobby Austin; Darrell and Stephen Harned, Steven Campbell, Donald “Murc” Murchison and Matthew Campbell.
