Lou Elvis ‘Polly’ Whitley
Lou Elvis “Polly” Whitley, 101, of Baytown and formerly of Burnet, died Sept. 2, 2012.
She was born on Feb. 20, 1911, in Oakalla to George and Rose Gillum Reavis.
Survivors include daughter Peggy Johnson of Arlington; son Bill Whitley of Baytown; brother J.D.Reavis of Seguin; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill; daughter Darlene; and grandson Bob.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sept. 4 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. Sept. 5 at Mahomet Cemetery with Earnest Spiekermann and Keith Reed officiating.
