Ronald Howard Poole, 64, of Marble Falls died July 11, 2012. He was born in Norfolk, Va., on Dec. 29, 1947, to Harmon and Louise Russell Poole.

He spent his younger years in the Houston area. When he was 15, he moved to Livingston, where the Poole family had lived for many years. He graduated from Livingston High School in 1967.

He had lengthy careers in both the auto and the oil field businesses. He sold real estate in Bryan-College Station as well as in Marble Falls after moving to the city in 2008.

He loved making people laugh with his insane sense of humor but was also incredibly determined. He was always the little man who could.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Bobbie; daughter Cindi Kay Poole-Ashford and husband Charlie; son Ryan Poole and Nancy Gomes; grandsons Wyatt, Jesse, Owen, Sebastian and Nathaniel; granddaughter Grayce Catherine; sister Jerri R. King; brother Joe Poole; and mother-in-law Idell Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Rusty and Randy Poole; and father-in-law Bob Thomas.

A memorial service is 1 p.m. July 21 at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston with visitation with the family immediately following
