Darlene Clara Davis, 82, of Kingsland died May 12, 2012. She was born to Nicholas and Clara (Franger) Tschirhart on Aug. 26, 1929, in San Antonio. 

She was a member of  the Ladies Club, Lady Knights of  Columbus, volunteered at nursing homes, delivered Meals on Wheels, helped with communion and loved the Aqua Boom parade. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing, waterskiing, crafts and entertaining friends and family. 

She was married to Harry Davis in San Antonio Aug. 30, 1958. 

In addition to her husband of 53 years, survivors include sons and daughters-in-laws Harry Daniel and Beth Davis of Littleton, Colo., and Dale and LeAnna Davis of Cypress; daughters and sons-in-law Diane and Steve Gray of Georgetown, Patricia and John Mitchell of Spring and Brenda and Jerry Allen of Rosenberg; 13 grandchildren; sister Bernice Nelson of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and son-in-law Mark Livesay of Sugarland. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Karen Livesay in 2008. 

A visitation is 4-7 p.m. May 15 at the Putnam Funeral Home and Crematory, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. 

A vigil is 6 p.m. the same day at the funeral home chapel. 

The liturgy is 10 a.m. May 16 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Sunrise Beach. Burial will follow 2:45 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road in San Antonio.
