Judy Dietzschold

Judy Dietzschold, 63, of Burnet died April 14, 2012. She was born Feb. 6, 1949, in Houston to Paul Edward Dietzschold and Barbara Christine (Messec) Ditezschold.
She resided in Houston and in Galveston, then moved to Burnet in 1982.
She became a Christian in 2000, after becoming diagnosed with cancer. She became a part of Bible study at the First Baptist Church, where she met women who encouraged her and gave her rides to the study, as well as to doctor appointments and chemotherapy treatments.
Survivors include older brother Gary Dietzschold and wife Celia of South Carolina; nephew Alan Dietzschold of Florida; niece Diana and husband Ronnie of South Carolina; twin sister Jane O’Rourke of Brazoria County; half-sister Mary Lynn Payne of Wimberley; aunt and uncle Doris and Richard Brown of Deer Park; and longtime friend and caregiver Linda Wiley of Burnet.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. April 17 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. April 18 at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Cozby officiating. Interment will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Scott Pollard, Dewey Peacock, Luis Herrera, Bobby Jones, Buddy Zimmerman, Ken Snowden and Terry John Farley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity or organization.
