Winnie Artie Smith
Winnie Artie Smith, 85, of Granite Shoals died April 6, 2012, in Round Rock. She was born in Texas on June 21, 1926, to Madison Dee and Minerva Smith Sanders.
She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Burnet. Her late husband had owned Smitty’s Radiator Shop in Burnet.
Survivors include son Elva Smith and wife Karen of Granite Shoals; grandchildren Neil and Jamie Smith of Aransas Pass, Patricia and David Rudd of Granite Shoals and Steve and Jamie Smith of Cottonwood Shores; several great-grandchildren; sisters Edith Scott, Janell Phiffer and Joyce James, all of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother Harvey Smith and grandson Johnnie A. Smith.
A family visitation was April 9.
A service was April 9 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.
Interment followed in Post Mountain Cemetery.
