Verlon D. Reagor Sr.
Verlon D. Reagor Sr., 87, of Burnet died Nov. 27, 2011. He was born Feb. 5, 1924, near Valley Springs in Llano County to Clint Reagor and Mary Carson Reagor.
He grew up in and around Llano County and joined the Army at age 17. He was a tank commander during his service from 1941 to 1946. He moved to Burnet in the early 1950s and was owner and operator of Reagor Air Conditioning, founded in 1973.
He was a Master Mason and a member of Valley Lodge No. 175 A.F. & A.M. in Burnet.
Survivors include his daughter Debbie Cox of Burnet and Pasadena; sons Verlon Reagor Jr. and Ken Reagor, both of Burnet; daughter Pam Rawlins of Heidenheim; sisters Linda Carta of Llano, Lila Lee Sprott of San Angelo and Joyce Davidson of Big Spring; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Doris Reagor, in 2006 and his ex-wife Louise Reagor.
A graveside service is 11 a.m. Nov. 30 at the Post Mountain Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Debo officiating.
