Carl Edwin Deel
Carl Edwin Deel, 62, of Kingsland died Oct. 14, 2011. He was born to Albert and Irene (Cordill) Deel on Sept. 23, 1949, in Midland.
He served in the Army. After retiring, he worked for Amvets — American Veterans — helping veterans. He was a member of the American Legion and a life member of Amvets.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Connie Deel of Kingsland; children Donna Van Scoy and husband David of Maryland, Eva Marie Lawrence of Palatine, Ill., William J. Lawrence of Virginia, Robert Lawrence of Kingsland and Wayne Ashley and wife Christine of Avondale, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Waylon Deel; and sister Thelma Walton.
There will not be a public service.
