Violet Marx Vietch, 91, of Burnet died Oct. 18, 2011, in Round Rock. She was born in Spicewood on Feb. 8, 1920, to William and Alda Singleton Crawford.

She worked for many years for the Blue Bonnet Cafe and the LaVista Cafe and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughters Lola Foreman of Cedar Park and Charlotte Gunthrie and husband Danny of Marble Falls; eight grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by son Robert Marx; daughter Jackie Wentrcek; and granddaughter Wendy Marx.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Oct. 20 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444. A graveside service is 10 a.m. Oct. 21 at Singleton Family Cemetery in Travis Peak with Tim Denton officiating.
