Grace Onstott
Grace Onstott, 91 of Bluffton and formerly of Bryan died Oct. 15, 2011. She was born Sept. 24, 1920, to J.B. Blackwell and Grace (Royall) Blackwell in Lometa.
On May 1, 1940, she married A.H. “Pete” Onstott in Goldthwaite.
She had been a resident of Bluffton since 1984 and was an active member of the Buchanan West Baptist Church in Buchanan Dam.
Survivors include son A.W. Onstott and wife Patricia of College Station; daughter Linda Poe and husband Kenneth of Llano; grandchildren Chris, Krystina, Khara, James and Troy; great-grandchildren Brittany, Charles, Courtney, Arthur, Adam, Addie and Logan.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Grace Ruth Onstott; sister Dorothy Richardson; and brothers Billy Joe Blackwell and Jack Blackwell.
A visitation is 5-7 p.m. Oct. 19 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano.
A funeral service is 10 a.m. Oct. 20 at the Buchanan West Baptist Church in Buchanan Dam, with the Rev. John Taylor officiating.
Burial follows at Bluffton Cemetery.
Pallbearers are the deacons from Buchanan West Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Llano Hospice or The Buchanan West Baptist Church.
