Florence Irene Fleshner, 83, of Marble Falls died Sept. 11, 2011. She was born in Kansas City, Kan., on Sept. 25, 1927, to Edward and Mildred Lois (Mack) Morrissey.

She was a registered nurse and a volunteer at Seton Highland Lakes Hospital of Burnet.

Survivors include her daughters Viv Foster and husband Eugene of San Antonio, Lois Hinze and husband David of San Antonio and Mary Tilley and husband James of Burnet; son Eddie Fleshner and wife Debbie of Houston; sister Janet Clark and husband Cal of Auburn, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, PeeWee Fleshner; parents; brother Jon Morrissey; and sister Frances Bernard.

Visitation is 5 p.m. Sept. 16 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A rosary follows at 7 p.m.

A service is 1 p.m. Sept. 17 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 105 RR 1431 in Marble Falls. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
