Christine Webb Dees
Christine Webb Dees, 73, of Burnet died Aug. 28, 2011. She was born Feb. 6, 1938, to Pierce and Mertis Gunther Byrd.
As a contributing member of the Bertram Church of Christ, she used her talents as an attorney to help so many.
She was a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates of the Highland Lakes Area and also worked for Child Protective Services.
The only pastime she enjoyed more than traveling the world was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She will be missed by her family and by the countless hearts she has touched on her journey through life.
Survivors include her son Warren Lake Webb and wife Pamela; daughters Tracie Mauthe and husband David, and Alexa Kennedy and husband James; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. Sept. 2 at the Bertram Church of Christ in Bertram, with the Rev. Gary Blakeney officiating.
