Mary Deliah Wooten
Mary Deliah Wooten, 78, of Llano died July 14, 2011. She was born Jan. 29, 1933, in Brady to Lillie Mae Blackstock and Douglas Stewart. She married Lawrence Marie Wooten on Nov. 5, 1949, in Hollis, Okla. She was a lifetime resident of Llano and was an active member in the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include sisters Joyce Moser of Llano, Essie Cromer of Houston, Ruby Haywood of Chandler and Odessa Tindell of San Antonio; brother Billy Stewart of Bastrop; son the Rev. Larry Wooten and wife Norma of Hinton, Okla.; daughters Mary Bement and husband John Kim of Chickasha, Okla., and Judy Wooten of Verden, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband July 8, 1998.
A visitation was July 15 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.
A service is 11 a.m. July 16 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Danny Megan officiating.
Burial will follow at the Board Branch Cemetery in Lone Grove.
Pallbearers include John Diehl, Joey Gunnels, Alex Castelan, David Wooten, Joey Wooten, Dalton Butler, Simon Baldelamar and Tommy Stewart.
Honorary pallbearers include Jason Klinger and Justin Wooten, while serving in Afghanistan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church
