Edna Louise Weise
Grandma” Edna Louise Weise, 96, died June 22, 2011. She was born to Robert and Louise Toellner Oct. 4, 1914, in Taylor.
She graduated from the Mondale School near Hutto. She married Frank Immanuel Weise Oct. 11, 1933. She followed her husband to California during his years in the Navy. When they returned to Texas, they opened Frank’s Garage in Austin.
In 1959 the moved their garage business and their home to Lake Buchanan. In 1967, the couple closed Frank’s Garage and opened Frank’s Dutch Bakery in Llano.
They retired from the bakery to enjoy their home and garden on Lake Buchanan.
Survivors include daughter Elray Ann Dean; son Frank I. Weise Jr.; grandchildren Tommy Jr. and wife Nancy, Lorie, Paul, Timothy, Dobie and wife Alyson, and Christopher and wife Grace; great-grandchildren Mandolyn, Miriam, Valle, Lorna, Jenny, Michael, Thomas, Rachel, Winston, Jeremy, Daniel, Kate, Trey, Nathan, Anna Grace, David, Abigail, Aaron, and Terra; great-great-grandchildren Caleb, Charis, Bethel Rose, Jessilyn, Abrielle, Jayla, Christa, Silas, Ciana, Tymon, Emma, Gabriel, Savannah Grace, Cheyenne, Colton, Luke and Dylan; and niece Ann Mayfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995.
A visitation was June 24 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
A funeral service was June 25 at Buchanan Dam with interment following at the Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor.
