Robert "Bobby" Vasquez, 58, of Waco died March 15, 2012. He was born in Burnet on Aug. 21, 1953.

He grew up in Burnet, playing little league baseball and attending school. He had lived in Waco with his fiancée Esther.

He was a kind-hearted, loving man who always had a joke and a smile for everyone. His favorite pastime was being with his family and friends.

He owned and operated a monument installation company in Central Texas and the Hill Country, helping those in times of grief with compassion and dedication.

Survivors include son Robert "B.J." Vasquez Jr.; fiancée Esther; daughters Jessica and Sarah; sisters Toni, Lupe and Herlinda; brothers Fred, Tom, Mike, Ray and Santos; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends. 
He was preceded in death by parents Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Vasquez Sr.; brothers Manuel, Rufus, Kelly, Juillan and Gilbert; and sisters Virginia and Rosa.

Visitation was March 17-18 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A celebration of life service was March 18 with recitation of the rosary at the funeral home. A service was March 19 at the funeral home. Interment followed at Stickling Cemetery near Bertram.

Pallbearers included Bobby Vasquez Jr., Rufus Vasquez III, Ricky Garcia, John Robert Carmona, Tim Hunziker and Felix Maura.
