Oma Buck Ross
Oma Buck Ross, 86 of Point Blank died June 17, 2011. She was born in LIberty Hill on March 8, 1925, to William Crutchfield and Delia Brown Buck.
She graduated from Bertram High School and was married to Edsel Odell Ross Sr. for 59 years. The couple lived most of their lives in Pasadena, where she worked and retired from Wiener’s department store.
She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many, known for her smile, laughter and kindness she shared with all.
Survivors include her son Edsel Odell Ross Jr. and wife Sandra; grandchildren Benjamin Ross and wife Jennifer, and Jonathan Ross and Emily Ross; sister Lillie Mae Tacker; brother Clarence Buck and wife Norma; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother Charlie Buck.
A service was June 20 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
A graveside service followed at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill.
