Wanda ‘June’ Morris Kuepers
Wanda “June” Morris Kuepers, 68, of Burnet died June 14, 2011, with her family by her side. She was born Dec. 16, 1942, to William Carl and Joyce Edell Morris.
Before moving to Burnet, she lived in Waco and San Angelo. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a nurse and travelled across the state working in various hospitals and nursing homes, which she enjoyed very much.
She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, sharp mind and quick wit.
Survivors include her sons DeeJon Schafer of Burnet and George Christopher Humphreys of Montgomery, Ala.; daughter Traci Dawn Schafer-Anderson of San Angelo; sisters Lois Edell Dodd, Patsy Ann Collins, Carla Jo Reeves and Cynthia June McPherson; brother W.C. “Sonny” Morris Jr.; grandchildren Dillon Schafer, Christian and Emily Anderson and Rowan Humphreys; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerhardt “Gary” Kuepers; and parents.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. June 17 at Smithwick Cemetery.
