Teresa “Terri” Kay Buss
Teresa “Terri” Kay Buss, 59, of Burnet died June 7, 2011. She was born in Yuma, Colo., on Sept. 9, 1951, to Jake and Mildred (Armstrong) Thompson.
She was a homemaker and a very dedicated volunteer with Court Appointed Special Advocates for the Highland Lakes Area.
Survivors include her husband Don Buss of Burnet; brothers Danny Thompson and Dennis Thompson, both of Colorado; sisters Laura Basler and husband Dan of Colorado and Jo Richardson of Clio, Iowa; stepson Donnie Buss of Hempstead; stepdaughter Sgt. Kristi Tucker and husband Sgt. John Tucker of Hempstead; adopted children Spc. Lian Fleming and husband Sgt. Nathan Fleming and Tara Hanks; grandson Kristipher Lillegard; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. June 10 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A service is 2 p.m. June 11 at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Leigh Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet.
Pallbearers are Donnie Buss, Mike Buss, Matt Buss, Gary Ott, Roger Goding and Nathan Fleming.
