Jim Nelson
Jim Nelson, 53, of Granite Shoals died March 23, 2010. Born Dec. 4, 1956, he was the son of Dale and Ginny (West) Nelson. He worked in construction as a trim carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Muse) Nelson of Granite Shoals; daughter Mystee Jackson and partner Tonya Medrano of Kingsland; sons Jeremy Nelson and fiancée Kendra of Granbury, and Walker Nelson and wife Becky of Bastrop; brothers Cliff Nelson and wife Roxanne, and Bob Nelson and wife Johnice, all of Marble Falls, Von Dale Nelson and wife Gloria of Farrington, N.M., and Jody Nelson of Dove Creek, Colo; grandchildren Baylee Jackson, Nevaeh Nelson, Griffin Bruce, Maggie Nelson and Ryan Nelson; along with several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. March 26 at Marble Falls City Cemetery, with the Rev. Kenneth Womack officiating.
