Fire destroys vacant ranch house in Burnet County
Three North Lake Travis Fire and Rescue firefighters inspect a ranch house destroyed in a Dec. 10 fire in Burnet County. According to Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Michael Phillips, the house, located at the end of CR 345, had been vacant for nearly a year. Phillips said a cause is unknown and that two boats along with the house and its contents were destroyed. The fire was reported at 11:18 a.m. Other responding agencies included Marble Falls EMS, Bertram Volunteer Fire Department and the Horseshoe Bay Fire Department. Staff photo by Jared Fields
