Marjorie Marie Landers
Mrs. Gordon Landers, nee Marjorie Marie Moss Landers, of Llano, Texas, passed away April 4, 2017, in Austin at the age of 87. She was born May 18, 1929, in Llano, the daughter of Stephen Boyce Moss Jr. and Alberta Bird Moss.
She married Gordon Melvin Landers on June 18, 1949, in Lampasas. She was a full-time rancher and a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church of Llano, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Melvin Landers, and parents, S.B. and Alberta Moss.
Mrs. Landers is survived by her daughters, Sharon Landers Clawson and spouse Johnny of San Angelo and Karen Landers Pollei and spouse Gary of Buda; son, Stephen Richard Landers and spouse Judy of Llano; grandchildren, Aron Clawson Horton and spouse Todd of San Angelo, Jody Stephen Landers of Llano, Walter Casey Landers and spouse Crystal of Llano, Jaydon Boyce Pollei and spouse Cara of Kyle, and Justin Wade Pollei and spouse Kristen of Wimberley; and great-grandchildren, Mitchell John Horton, Reece Ryan Horton, Lyndi Jean Landers, Cole Casey Landers, Hudson Boyce Pollei, and Samuel Wade Pollei.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. April 6 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 10 a.m. April 7 at the funeral home with Jerald Moore officiating. A graveside service will follow at Six Mile Cemetery in Llano County.
