John Allen Morris, 65, of Kingsland died Feb. 22, 2017

John Allen Morris, 65, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away Feb. 22, 2017. He was born in Iraan, Texas, to John D. and Mina Mae (Teal) Morris of Brady.

John lived in Fremont and Oakdale, California, before returning to Texas in 2004 as a project engineer III for the Texas Department of Transportation.

John is survived by his sons, John Morris and wife Kendra and Steven Morris, whom he shared with former spouse, Deborah Morris; grandchildren, Raymie Anne Morris and Grayson John Morris; mother, Mina Mae Morris; siblings Clydia (Morris) Marks, Billy Ray Morris, and Michael Lynn Morris; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his father.
