Daniel Edward McClain, 69, of Burnet died Aug. 8, 2016

Daniel Edward McClain, 69, of Burnet, Texas, died in Marble Falls on Aug. 8, 2016. He was born March 9, 1947, to Shelton and Mildred (Thompson) McClain in Rainelle, West Virginia.

Daniel was the owner and operator of a gas and oil company. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He lived in the Burnet area for the last 17 years.

He is survived by his son, Josh McClain, and his son’s mother, Kathleen McClain of Burnet.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
