Morris Reed Cluck, 84, of Manor died June 5, 2016

Morris Reed “Bub” Cluck, 84, of Manor, Texas, died June 5, 2016, in Llano. He was born May 10, 1932, to L.N. and Myrtle Stewart Cluck in Leander.


He married Thelma I. Roode on Nov. 26, 1974.

Cluck worked as a long-haul truck driver before retiring in 1990.

Cluck and his wife, Thelma, were members of the Tree of Life Church in Pflugerville. They loved being a part of the congregation and giving help in any way to Pastors Mike and Cheryl Johnson.

Cluck is survived by his spouse, Thelma I. Cluck; stepchildren, Elizabeth A. Cordell, Joseph D. Cordell and wife Debra and Carolyn Cordell; grandchild, Austin Cordell; sister Nina Lockhart; and nieces Belinda Nicholas and Benita Dryden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.N. and Myrtle Cluck; brothers, William Gilbert Cluck and Gene Stewart Cluck; and sister Mary Jane Cluck.

A memorial service is 3-5 p.m. June 26 at the Leander Church of God, 202 Sonny Drive in Leander.
