Sonora ‘Laurie’ Lawley, 53, of Llano died June 2, 2016

Sonora Laurie Lawley was born Feb. 14, 1963, and passed away June 2, 2016.

A graveside service is 2 p.m. June 5 at Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Sid McMahon officiating.

She was preceded in death by Harold Von “Red” Lawley and Mary Ruth Howard.

Laurie is survived by her brothers, Harold Lawley Jr. and John Branam, and sisters, Robin McBride and Melanie Gorsuch.

She is also survived by her daughters, Theresa Smith, Mary McKelvy, Audrey Alverson and Connie Henson and their spouses; five grandchildren, Chelsie, Dalton, Nellie Joe, Austin and Kolbi; many, many adopted kids; and her best friend, Daniel “Bubba” McMahon.

Laurie had a heart of gold and was a loving angel on Earth, and now she has her wings watching over all of us.
