Glenn A. Crews, 79, the gentle giant and longtime resident of Buchanan Dam, Texas, was called by the Lord to rest in peace May 31, 2016. He died peacefully at home after a strong battle against cancer.
He was born in Eastland, Texas, on March 18, 1937, to Clarence and Cecil (Seale) Crews.
Glenn worked for Phillips Food Mart in Buchanan Dam and Bill Smith Propane in Marble Falls.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ciscie Cox Crews; son, Terry Crews and wife Susie; grandsons Ethan and Ryder Crews; daughter, Dondi Crews Lehmann and husband Terry; grandsons Skyler, J.T. and Josh; stepchildren Jamie and Jayson Cox; step-granddaughters, Breanna and Madison Cox; two great-grandchildren; sister Audrey Wendell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Not only will he be greatly missed by his friends and family but by his faithful companion to the end, Rufus.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and stepson John Cox.
