Melody W. Bernhard
Melody W. (Watson) Bernhard passed away March 31, 2016, at the age of 77. She was born July 6, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Margaret Watson.
She grew up in Kerrville and attended Tivy High School, which is where she met husband Fred Bernhard. They were married Nov. 1, 1957.
She graduated from the licensed vocational nursing program at Schreiner College in 1974.
Melody had lots of friends who enjoyed her vivacious spirit.
She is survived by husband, Fred Bernhard of Buchanan Dam; daughters, Becky Coons and husband Ray of Kerrville and Julie Woolway and husband Jim of Redwood City, California; and three grandchildren, Matthew Coons and wife Lauren of Clearwater, Florida, Kyle Coons of Johnson City and Jenna Woolway of Redwood City, California.
