Benjamin Eric Weems, 32, of Burnet died March 7, 2016
Benjamin Eric “Benny” Weems, 32, of Burnet passed away March 7, 2016. He was born Aug. 18, 1983, in Austin to Jeffrey Dale and Glenda Darlene Hart Weems.
He is survived by his wife, Michele; sons, Benjamin Eric Weems Jr., Tristan Glenn Whitworth and Trinity Lee Whitworth; daughter, Taylor Ann Whitworth; mother, Glenda Darlene Weems; brothers, Jeffrey Dale Weems Jr., Joshua Damien Weems and Joseph Abraham Weems; sister, Chelsea Evon Weems; grandfather, Warren Weems; uncle Robert Eric Weems; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Benny was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Dale Weems.
Benny was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He worked for Burnet County Precinct 1 since 2009. He grew up in Jonestown and later resided in Burnet for the last 10 years.
Benny loved family gatherings, his friends, sports and spending time on the lake.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. March 11 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A graveside service is 2 p.m. March 12 at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander. Pallbearers are Tristan Whitworth, Levi Whitworth, Jordan Whitworth, J.J. Weems, Josh Weems, JoJo Weems, Sam Hughes and Jarret Whitworth.
