Evelyn Foster, 66, of Burnet died March 2, 2016

Evelyn Foster, 66, of Burnet, Texas, passed away March 2, 2016, following a lengthy illness. She was a daughter of A.J. and Anita (Meyers) Foster, born in Austin, Texas, on Nov. 23, 1949.

Evelyn worked at various jobs but was last employed at a convenience market in Burnet. She enjoyed playing various games on the computer and bingo and was a practical joker.

She is survived by her children, Shannon Sharp, Christopher Cantrell, Christian “Dwayne” Foster, Kevin Foster and LaniLynn Cooper. She had custody of one of her grandchildren, Chance Jennings. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings, Barbara Pardue, Linda Zant, Patricia Cordell and John and Roger Foster; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. March 26 at the family residence.
