MARBLE FALLS —After having the ball for only 15 plays in the first half, the Marble Falls High School football team made a change in its approach to the San Marcos Rattlers Friday in the season opener.

The Mustangs (1-0) decided to go right after the heart of the Rattler defense by running through, around and over them en route to the 30-16 victory.

“As the game went on, we got the blood flowing,” senior quarterback Zed Woerner said. “I knew that’s all that had to happen.”
